The gift enhanced the state college's plans for the new facility that opened in August last year at 200 Daniels Way, on Bloomington's west side. In a second ceremony, the Early Childhood Education office suite on the second floor of the Ivy Tech building was dedicated to Patty Brown, in honor of her dedication and commitment to early childhood education. Comments Ivy Tech-Bloomington Chancellor John Whikehart: "Bill C. and Patty Brown's gift enhanced the College's plans for our new facility that opened in August last year at 200 Daniels Way, on Bloomington's west side. We are enormously grateful for their generosity. Bill's appointment to the Ivy Tech Foundation Board demonstrates yet again his long-term commitment to improving the lives of Hoosiers through education."
