Ivy Tech Fundraising Campaign Reaches 2 Million Mark

Bloomington, Indiana. Officials at Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington announced today that “Grow Ivy Tech,” the college’s campaign to raise $3 million, has reached the $2 million mark.

Chancellor, said, “We’ve received wide support ranging from corporate contributions to our life and health sciences programs to scholarship gifts from individuals who want to contribute to our mission of changing the lives of our students. Although campaign support is often referred to as a gift, I see it as an investment in the students and communities we serve.”

The $3 million campaign for private support is the direct result of rapidly increasing enrollment and the addition of several new programs. The campaign will assist Ivy Tech in its effort to accommodate growth in the life and health science arenas, increase scholarship funding, provide support for the Center for Civic Engagement and allow for future growth.
