Ivy Tech registration deadline looms

Registration for both on-campus and distance education courses are ongoing at Ivy Tech Community College. Students can register until Aug. 23 for classes for the fall 2008 semester. Classes begin Aug. 25.

Ivy Tech-Bloomington offers more than 400 credit hours that transfer to Indiana University Bloomington, as well as courses and associate degrees that transfer to other four-year institutions. It continues to develop new academic programs, for example, public safety, respiratory therapy, and health information technology to meet the needs of regional employers. Some new course offerings for this fall include 3-D animation, game programming, graphic design, liberal arts and marketing.

Students have the opportunity to get involved in sports, student politics, campus activities and more.
