Indiana Colleges Make the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll

Eighteen Indiana colleges and universities are on this year's President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for service efforts. The honor is the highest federal recognition of a school's commitment to service-learning and civic engagement.
Franklin College and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis were among the 83 institutions nationwide named as Honor Roll With Distinction.

-Valparaiso University.
Officials at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology say projects that earned the institution honor roll status include Bikes For Tykes and its Homework Hotline toll-free telephone math and science tutoring service.
