![]() Ivy Tech hosts career fair with 30-plus employersThank you to the Career Expo Sponsors: April 8, 2009 More than 30 employers from South Central Indiana will be at a career expo on the Ivy Tech campus from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday. Students interested in meeting with these employers during the annual event are welcome at the Student Commons, in the main campus building at 200 Daniels Way. Career Expo 2009 is open to the diverse job seeker, who is either looking for a new career or to build their professional network. Career Expo is also open to associate degree candidates, students seeking internships or co-ops, and summer employment, stated an Ivy Tech news release. Local area high school seniors are encouraged to attend. All job-seekers are invited to the Career Advising and Transfer Center at Ivy Tech prior to the event for resume review, company research and interview practice. Participants should expect to network with business representatives, share their resumes, and be prepared to speak with employers about job or internship openings.
