Bloomington, Ind. – Ivy Tech’s Bloomington campus is hosting an Economic Survival Fair on Thursday, October 8 from 1:30-6:30 p.m. at the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences.
More than 25 community representatives will be at the fair with information booths, and will run various workshops about energy, housing and food solutions; healthcare options; credit repairing; foreclosure prevention; résumés and interviewing; budgets; small business funding options; and other topics.
Ivy Tech Bloomington Chancellor John Whikehart says that Ivy Tech is proud to be able to partner with area organizations to provide free resource information to the communities we all serve. “The willingness of agency representatives to be part of this economic survival event has been outstanding,” says Whikehart.
The event is free and open to the public. The Indiana Center for the Life Sciences is located at 501 N. Profile Parkway, on Ivy Tech’s main campus on the west side of Bloomington. Rural Transit offers bus service to the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences.
