Summer Songs, Games and Musical Instruments
June 11 & 13 | Cost: $39

Day 1: GAMES - There are a lot of reasons to encourage your child to get out and play. In this session your child will learn some old fashion games and crafts to do when they need to get outside to use some of that youthful energy. All games will have handouts and we will make any game pieces that you will need. We will also have a snack and drinks to make the day even more enjoyable! These games are fun, easy and great for those summer afternoons when all you hear is “Mom, there is nothing to do!”

Day 2: SONGS, CHANTS & DANCES - Come enjoy a day filled with music! We will start our session by making some instruments from recycled objects. Then we will strike up the band! We will try our hand at playing some simple tunes and chants! Along with the chants, we will learn some circle games. We will follow that with some folk dancing! We will do a simple square dance and a German folk dance. Wear your comfortable shoes so you can move to the beat of that different drummer! Snacks and drinks are included!

Summer Science for Kids

Day 2: BIRDS - We will continue our look at birds, how they fly, what they eat, and where they live. We will study how weather affects them and what they do to survive. We even have some of the modern day dinosaurs to look at up close and personal. We will make a bird house to take home today.

Day 3: BUTTERFLIES - Come learn about the beautiful butterfly. In this class, we will learn what it takes to attract butterflies to your yard. We will study the stages of this wonderful insect and see what they eat as they grow from egg to adult. We will make a butterfly to take home with you.
