Performance-based theatrical adventures foster creativity, imagination, self-expression and self-confidence! All camps are held at the Bloomington Playwrights Project (BPP) in downtown Bloomington and run 9 AM-4 PM.

Broadway Kids
(Grades K-2 as of fall 2013)
June 3-14 | Cost: $260
The art of acting and storytelling form the backdrop of Broadway Kids, with campers exploring the world of theatre through music, movement, visual arts, and performance. Campers will learn improvisation techniques along with such introductory elements of acting as character creation and artistic collaboration.

DramatiCATS - Comedy and Tragedy Stars
(Grades 2-6 as of fall 2013)
June 17-29 | Cost: $260
In DramatiCATS campers will learn playwriting and acting skills, culminating in their own two-character plays that they’ll perform side-by-side with adult actors. DramatiCATS campers’ imaginations are challenged constantly while they create one-of-a-kind new theatre!

Girls Camp of Rock
(Grades 2-6 as of fall 2013)
July 1-5 | Cost: $285
The Girls Camp of Rock builds self-esteem and performance technique while letting girls just rock out. Campers will participate in workshops on songwriting, rhythm and movement, and at the end of the week perform in a real music venue!

Youth Musical Theatre Ensemble
(Grades 4-11 as of fall 2013)
July 8-August 4 | Cost: $485
This unique camp is geared toward youth who have a passion for the stage! Campers will write, produce and perform an original musical, culminating in a series of full performances for the general public. This intensive summer stock experience includes a rigorous rehearsal schedule, collaboration with theatre professionals, and a special mid-camp cabaret night to give members an exciting window into the demands and rewards of a life in theatre.
